HearBest has established exclusive relationships with most major distributors for specialty phone products.  These products include lines like Clarity, Ameriphone Krown and many others.  Telephone technology is constantly changing and HearBest works closely with its suppliers to bring the most current technology to the Pittsburgh market first.

Some of the products available through HearBest are:

Amplified telephones

HearBest has a number of amplified phones on display  with a variety of different features, including a flashing ringer alert, amplified alerts, or vibrating alerts.  By visiting the store, consumers can test the various features and models.  Special orders are also available on products not in our regular stock. 

HearBest carries both cordless and hardwired amplified telephones in various colors.  Orders can be placed for more specific types of amplified telephones.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Also on display in the store is a choice of Wireless Bluetooth compatible hearing aids.  This advanced technology allows the consumer to connect to a number of Bluetooth devices like cell phones, Ipods and computers.  We also provide Bluetooth converters that convert TV and landline telephone signals so that a consumer’s hearing aid can wirelessly receive the signal directly into hearing aids.

Telephone Amplifiers

Many customers all ready own a telephone and just want some type of amplifier to attach to it.  HearBest has several portable or interchangeable amplifiers that can be attached to almost any telephone.  Ask about both portable and fixed or permanent attachments for almost any  telephone.  The ringer can be amplified or the caller’s voice can be amplified or both are amplified.

TV Ears/InfraRed Transmission 

TV Ears is one of the most requested products HearBest stocks on a regular basis.  A number of different models are on display and available in the store to test before you buy. 

Amplified and Vibrating Alarm Clocks

One of the more popular requests we receive is for amplified and vibrating  waking devices (alarm clocks).

 HearBest has on display several models so that you can “test the loudness” or “feel the vibration”.  Portable and travel models are available a well as the very popular vibrating alarm wrist watch.  These are great solutions when only one person needs to wake up early.

Custom Ipod/MP3 Earpieces

HearBest offers custom made earpieces for consumers who use an Ipod or MP3 but can’t get a satisfactory earpiece to fit their ear.  Custom molds are taken to construct a piece to fit like a glove.   The process usually takes about two weeks.
